Loving our new news and blog section so I’m going try and start coming back to it with little bits of information and news and whats happening. Lots of ideas come through my head in an attempt to keep Snowbombing fresh and interesting, we don’t want to get complacent which is why we like to add a new addition to Snowbombing each year. For 2010 we got quite a few new things to announce or ideas to share, maybe some feedback will be asked or needed.
Im gonna try to do a regular thing but im going to start with one of my favourite your tube videos of last year’s 2many DJs party. The vid gets going after about 50 seconds and its only 20 seconds that sums up the end of a party that was a stressfull one all the way through. Its 2Many DJs in the forest how had to replace Norman Cook who had to pull out two weeks previous. 2ManyDJ flight was cancelled and they turned up at 2100 for a gig that was meant to start at 2000. We got the license extended to 2230 from 2200 on permission of the mayor that wasn’t easy
The video walls were brought from the UK which were on Norms Tech rider and there for him and weren’t cheap. The crew were literally putting them onto one of the trucks when Norman cancelled. 2 Many DJs didn’t want them but we thought why not, we have them now let’s take them – so glad we did.
This video shows what a show it was – this was outdoor, in a forest at the end of an amazing week… surrounded by the alps. You had to walk through the forest to get their guided by an Oompah band. Its one of the best venues ive been to in my life and its always a special way to end Snowbombing. The year before Madness headlined that party and it was amazing too. This year – we are going to have a band and a DJ play in it and it will be going on til midnight.
