More clubs than Tiger Woods…
Stop stuffing the turkey and trying to pull a cracker at the office party ‘cos we’ve got a couple of pre-crimbo parties yule be happy to hear about, which are both happening this THURSDAY Dec 17th!…

In London Town those Christmas tree fairies SMASH & GRAB will be snogging their way through another of their ‘cooler than softly falling snowflakes’ fun- with-tongues get-togethers. The untamed disco abandon all takes place @ The Proud Galleries ( The Stables Market, Chalk Farm Rd, NW1, £4 b4 10pm / £8 after), with das Pop, Club Smith, Waxhouse, Teenagersintokyo, Queens of Noize plus one more tbc. Err get there early, this will be busier than the Peckham Pound Store (Yes, Everything’s a Pound!) was last Saturday.

Meanwhile, our fun lovin’ chums from Brum, SPECTRUM will be delivering a sound (system) spanking @ SMACK, (5-9 Tavistock St, Leamington Spa, CV32) featuring Pete Jordan and SBing’s insomniac elf Marc Roberts. It’s only £4/£5 and Marc will be more than happy to buy you a drink if you laugh heartily at his jokes.
…and almost as many partners!
Oh we know what you’re thinking, there they go again, fluttering their amorous alpine credentials and putting it about to anyone who shows an interest, but when it comes to working with cool club brands, we’re afraid we’re absolutely shameless:
So we’re happy to confirm we will be enjoying a winter-long tryst with the following new “catches”:
Metropolis

In the past 7 years Metropolis have become one of the UK’s leading clubbing brands, operating in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, Liverpool, Birmingham, and London during this period. They’re also on first name terms with Groove Armada, Dizzee Rascal, Pendulum, 2manydjs and know the inside leg measurements of many major companies and brands, including the Warehouse Project in Manchester, Ibiza Rocks, Ministry of Sound and live broadcasts with Radio 1 and 1xtra. (Bloody hell – and we thought we were well connected!
Wax:On

Wax:On have spent the last five years putting on some of the best electronic dance events in the UK, playing host to over 200 amazing DJs and Live Artists including; Erol Alkan, 2ManyDJs, Annie Mac, Skream, Benga, Rusko, Simian Mobile Disco, Sven Vath, Luciano, Richie Hawtin, and many more. Wax:On have recently taken the leap to releasing music, setting up two record labels called Wax:On Music and Magicbag Music. They have also just started a Compilation Series, the first one being mixed by Fake Blood and People Get Real. Although highly respected in the electronic music arena, they have been strangely silent in the yodel charts.
