We’re stoked on trent and prouder than Mrs Lighthouse was when her family got to number one with ‘Lifted’ – ‘cos TWO of our bands who are appearing at Snowbombing ’10 have been nominated for gongs at this years Brit Awards.
The brilliant DOVES are up for Best British Group, while the fandabidozi FRIENDLY FIRES have been nominated for ‘Best British Breakthrough’ Act.
Congrats to both bands, this represents a top achievement and proves that all those times you drove to gigs in a Ford Transit and worked your way through the entire Ginsters range has paid off!
We think we should all get together and throw our considerable alpine weight behind the lads and who knows, if they win, they might buy everyone a glass of bubbly in April!
