Metropolis Does Snowboming - Leeds

The weekend arrived early for Team Snowbombing last Friday, as the lucky few of us shut up shop and left for Leeds, at lovely lunchtime ‘o clock. We bundled ourselves up north, banners, flags and moustaches in toe, heading for the 6th stop on the Snowbombing Club Tour, and the second with d’n’b megamen – Metropolis.

The night kicked off with a bang at 11pm, as Metropolis’ resident MAK hit the decks. Despite the torrential rain and bitter cold, the loyal Bombing and Metropolis massive, waited patiently at the doors of the Faversham before piling in for a night of Movember style moustachery (we knew the famous Snowbombing tache trend would catch on sooner or later!). The first few bombers through the door received free Snowboming T-shirts as rewards for their loyal efforts and there were smiles all round as the night began.

As midnight struck, the building was heaving, jam packed full of bass heads knocking back Eristoff Icy drinks like no tomorrow…

When DOORLY came on the scene, the dance floor really boomed… He played a mash up of electro/dubstep and dnb classics which kept the crowd hyped for hours!

Despite, Shy FX not making it to the venue (sadly his car broke down in Nottingham*) a great night was had by all. As the news broke, Doorly rinsed out ‘Shake your Body’ and we all bounced about like Nuttahs.

Original Madmen!
See you next Saturday for the 7th Club Tour night to date: C-Y-N-T, Cardiff.
*Metropolis are currently arranging another date for SHY FX to play… So for all those who missed out this time, keep hold of your proof of purchase and you’ll get in to his next Metropolis gig for free!

What you described is definitely a winner. I like how everything is well put. This is by far one for the books indeed.
