Yes! We’ve done it… Snowbombing driven by Volvo has won ‘Best Overseas Festival’ at the UK Festival Awards!

We’d like to thank everyone who voted for us, our mums and dads, and not forgetting God, who’s given us the mountains, snow and sufficiently warped minds so we can create a unique festival experience for people which equally embraces music, mirth and mischief.
Winning this award really means a lot to us because you just can’t buy these gongs (we’ve tried but the judges just wouldn’t have it), they are forged from the memories of over a hundred thousand festival goers and are earned by hard graft (and in our case, soft beds!).

So now it’s official, let’s celebrate in style next April… As the BEST OVERSEAS FESTIVAL anywhere on Planet Earth! – And that’s official.
Let’s make it a clean sweep! We’re in the running for ‘Best Small Festival’ and ‘Festival with the Best Line Up’ in the European Festival Awards; so let’s show our continental cousins that Inflatable Viking Ships in the middle of Austria, oompah-loompahs on ski’s and thousands of people dressed as root vegetables deserves international recognition of the highest order. So express yourself:
We would also like to say well done to all the other winners at the UK Festival awards!
