SUPERCHARGED REVIEW

After last fortnight’s snow blunder with every form of transport in the country being out of use (including horse and cart) and the disappointment of Marky and GQ not being able to make it to Brighton, we kept a close eye on the weather reports last Tuesday night and packed our thick socks for Wednesday’s expedition…We took our hats, gloves and moustaches (essential) and hit the road, down to Brighton’s sea front.

Loaded up with Snowbombing banners we battled the Channel Island winds to set up for a deep bass, one leg skanking freefall at Audio. With a crew of DNB ravers outside, braving the cold and raring to go, the doors opened at 11pm.  Supercharged residents set the rpm to 44 and began to spin the vinyl’s… It was tune after tune along with tache after tache.

By the second set, the Eristoff was flying off the bar. The night was spinning like a technic 1210.  When the clock struck 1am, it was now time for the man himself – Mr Perez. With some big bass lines and some high hat switching, he brought the house down for over an hour and a half.

The night was brought to a steady close down at 3am when we left to brave the Arctic winds of Brighton beach once again. We battled with cable ties, struggled with duck tape and collected our moustaches…

Back on the road again… Next stop: Urban Nerds House Party on Dec 23^rd, London.
