INTRODUCING VOLVO SNOWBOMBING

Our new year’s resolution is to make Snowbombing even better and create an event the likes of which has NEVER been seen in the snow. In order to realize our ambitions we’ve pulled a top Swedish model!

We’re pleased to announce an exciting new headline partnership with our close allies Volvo for 2011. This strengthening of our bond will enable us to develop Snowbombing into a truly pan-European event with a World class line-up befitting the ‘World’s Greatest Show on Snow’ and will allow us to really deliver an unprecedented festival experience for everyone: more music, more venues, more Road Trips and of course the Volvo Ice Camp… essentially more mischief than EVER before!

Check out just a taster of what Volvo is bringing to the event this year…

THE VOLVO ROAD TRIP

THE ONLY WAY TO GO…

It’s the most enjoyable way to get to Snowbombing. It’s tons more fun than being cooped up on a low cost flight, and you’ll remember it for the rest of your life! It is the Volvo Snowbombing Road Trip: a slightly unhinged, road trip and adventure that will see you join a variety of music acts, celebrities and friends en route to what is the World’s ‘Greatest Show on Snow.’  2011 sees the pan-European expansion of the Volvo Road Trip – in addition to 120 cars setting off from our departure point in the UK, the Road Trip will also be cross start-lines in Germany, Holland and Italy.

THE VOLVO ICE CAMP

THE DAY TRIP TO END ALL DAY TRIPS…

At Volvo Snowbombing 2010, 200 competition winners spent an exclusive day listening amidst the mountains, as Radio 1’s Annie Mac played an exclusive set, which undoubtedly became one of the most talked about gigs of the festival. The bar will be raised once again in 2011 with 250 competition places up for grabs to all Snowbombers.

Details will be announced Monday March 14 – so stay tuned for all the details - Trust us when we say it’s going to be very special!

THE MISSION

A SERIES OF VOLVO CROSS COUNTRY MISADVENTURES

We want to let everyone know just how good Volvo Snowbombing is… so we’ve assembled a crack team of sonic snow soldiers and handed them a mighty mountainous mission: to generate the Volvo Snowbombing vibe in eight premier powdery playgrounds across Austria, Switzerland & France!

Our agents include resident DJs THE URBAN KNIGHTS whose weapons of choice are two of Volvos hottest cars. A passion red XC60 & a Sapphire Black XC90 – the embodiment of cool Scandinavian design and fully loaded with Pioneer CDJ1000’s & Video Screens for VJ-ing: in short a mobile disco done the Volvo Snowbombing way!
