Entry for our annual battle of the bands (which we run together with our pals at gigwise.com) has now closed. We had a record breaking 114 bands who applied for the comp and we’ve shortlisted our top 20 below.

The top 4 from the shortlist that receive the most votes from the public will appear on a festival bill alongside The Prodigy, Pendulum & Fatboy Slim and strut their stuff on a stage in the middle of the mountains in front of a panel of industry experts, the UK’s coolest media and 5000 Snowbombers.
One of these 4 could be swapping a life of mundane normality for a life of rock’n’roll hedonism, STD’s and that inevitable appearance on ‘Never Mind The Buzzcocks’.
