Artist Bio’s

When Crookers started to get noticed a few years ago, on the underground circuit, it was clear they had what it takes. Beyond their specific style, Italy had never seen such a free and creative approach to dance music. They were destined to be big, but no one could have imagined that just a few years later they’d be behind such a spectacular debut album “Tons of Friends”. Starting from a series of influences ranging from hip-hop to house through to the most diverse examples of electronic sounds from the club scene, particularly influenced by the English style “fidget”, a mix of “street” style rap and dance grooves following on from Basement Jaxx but more experimental and a main diffuser in Dave Taylor aka Switch, Crookers are now completing their first major remixes for The Chemical Brothers (the Italians stating it’s something to look out for) and Armand Van Helden, being the main reference point for their influence on the scene.

Nic Sarno is a DJ a Music Producer and a Multimedia Artist, and considered one of the founders of the Italian’s dance new wave, along with Crookers, The Bloody Beetroots and Congorock, to name a few. His interest for Arts, witnessed by his study at the Brera‘s Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, and attention on new sounds as a Dj, involve him in various projects. Some of this are the musical collective The Love Supreme, born in 2003, conceived along with his friends Sapo and Robi Di Movi, and the Label ESP Records, created in 2006 and quickly becamed a reference in the underground dance scene, producing tracks from Crookers, Hijack, Trevor Loveys, Congorock, His Majesty Andre, Bombaman, Mikix The Cat, Douster and Nic itself off course.

Keith & Supabeatz are two upcoming producers and remixers from Italy! You have certainly heard of them lately..

K&S’s tracks have already been played by the likes of Laidback Luke, Crookers, Brodinski, Congorock, Shinichi Osawa, Bart B More, Fake Blood and Benny Benassi, including a lot of plays on BBC Radio1 by Annie Nightingale, Annie Mac, Kissy Sell Out and Jaymo & Andy George. Their story begun in late 2008 with a great success: they won the Franz Ferdinand’s remix contest for Domino Records. For this reason, they decided to work together on some original material. Pluto EP, the first co-produced EP, came out in may 2009 on Hypotron Records and it quickly exploded in the underground music scene, being supported by Congorock, Malente and Don Rimini to name but a few. The duo joined again on a new project in 2010. They signed to Fatboy Slim’s UK based label Southern Fried and the first EP was “Some1 EP” which has been played and supported by Fake Blood, Brodinski, Groove Armada, Malente, Mumdance, A1 Bassline, Kidda and Foamo.
