Introducing our partners for Snowbombing 2012…
Voted in Mixmag’s best club nights of 2010, FACE has truly established itself as Birmingham’s finest weekly Saturday event. With a diverse crowd and mixed genres of quality music over three rooms, there’s nobody that won’t like this party. FACE has organically grown from strength to strength, putting on some of the most spectacular events in recent times. Promoters Lee Mcdonald, Scott Bleepz & Elliot Croft have been involved in Snowbombing for the past 3 years and now they have been invited to step up and host a night at Snowbombing 2012. Expect great things from FACE this year… They will be putting on an excellent party for us all!
Following a series of massive parties in London over the past 12 months, forward-thinking electronic funkster Ralph Lawson and his ace northern institution 2020Vision take their underground party experience to the Snowbombing slopes of Mayrhofen for the 1st time in 2012. The label, now in its 17th year, has ample experience in hosting big-scale underground events. Their last London shindig incorporated two venues, as well as a raft of underground talent (think Maya Jane Coles, Steve Bug and Ewan Pearson), all spread out over a marathon 20 hour bank holiday session.
Snowbombing stalwarts. The Urban Nerds have firmly cemented their London party brand on the underground circuit and on Snowbombing Festival (this will be their 4th year with us!). With a duo of smashing residents, the Nerds pride themselves on providing DJs who know their way around a needle. They have taken their parties to the likes of Fabric and Matter and collaborated with everyone from Mixmag to the DMC World DJ Championships! Skepta, Benga, DJ Zinc, Jack Beats, Rusko and Tayo are just a handful of selectors to have graced the nerds’ decks. Grime, dubstep, hip-hop, drum ‘n’ bass, reggae, electro and beyond, the Nerds have it in abundance.
For the last 6 years, Wax:On have been putting all their efforts into hosting some of the best electronic music events in the UK and beyond. Fabric represents an upfront music mash up, touring all tempos from hip hop to drum’n’bass, broken and breakbeat, soul to soundclash. A real treat for music lovers each and every week. Playlists consistently forge a path for new sounds and talent. Lose yourself in the freshest house, techno and electro sounds from forward thinking underground DJs and cutting edge live acts. Last year Fabric brought us the Jackmaster and Oneman Arctic Disco Melt down. We are looking forward to what they can bring this year!
Eastern Electrics is a block rocking, genre defying, venue changing event. Held occasionally across the year in the most unusual of spaces with acts that break boundaries as a matter of course, Eastern Electrics likes to be different.
