We’re very pleased to announce our 2 charity partners for Snowbombing 2012; C.A.L.M (Campaign Against Living Miserably) and CoppaFeel (Breast Cancer Awareness).
We strongly support both charities and would like you to learn a little more about them, so please have a read below to see how each helps thousands across the UK each year.
We all get down at times, right? But you may be shocked to learn that suicide is the biggest killer of blokes aged 15-35 in the UK. The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) was launched in the legendary clubs of Manchester’s Sankeys Soap in 1998 and in Cream on Merseyside in 2000. In March 2006 it re-launched as a national charity, as a response to the above fact.
CALM uses music as a channel to communicate and reach out to anyone having problems or battling depression by giving them something to identify with and offering somewhere to talk about their problems in confidence. There’s a cool website with info about issues like relationships, drugs and debt, plus music exclusives, interviews and challenging articles.
CALM also offers information and advice via a friendly helpline where you can talk confidentially and anonymously to an adviser. We support them and want to make everyone aware of one of the coolest campaigns out there!

CoppaFeel! is the only breast cancer awareness and education charity in the UK, and the only one aimed at young people. They’re all about stamping out late detection and mis-diagnosis of breast cancer by wising-up Britain’s youngsters.
They’re determined to make a difference and dedicated to saving lives; sooner than later, you will be reminded to check your boobs by Team CoppaFeel! Until then, get to know your boobs NOW.
