Older readers may remember the competition we ran at the Ski and Snowboard Show shindig at Earls Court back in October. There was a prize draw hosted on portal of all things pokey, Facebook and was randomly drawn by Robert Random of Random Terrace, Randombury, Randomshire RA1D03.
1st Prize has been won by James Woodall who’s won 2 all-singing-and-dancing tickets to Snowbombing (they’re currently appearing in ‘Chicago’ at the Lyceum Theatre, in London’s West End in fact). Although evidently abundant in luck James is aware he is somewhat lacking in the name dept…so he’s decided to take his good friend Robin Alexander Edward Figueirado. We kid you not. RAEF (as his mates call him) is not only worth an astonishing 236 points in Scrabble but if his name was emblazoned on the back of 5 football shirts, he’d form a formidable defensive wall.
Anyway, together with James he’ll enjoy 2x Return flights from London on April, 2x Return airport transfers to resort, 5 Night’s accommodation (double/twin room), 2x Festival wristbands, 2 x 4 day ski passes, 2 x 4 day ski or snowboard equipment hire.
James was so joyous upon receiving this news that he completely forgot to shave. For the entire month of November (good effort, fella! – we love nothing more than a fund and awareness raising top lip …except maybe Arctic Roll).
Congratulations also to runner up Jessica Dyer. She won guestlist entry for two to a club night of her choice from the Snowbombing Ignition UK Club Tour and a naughty overnight hotel stay. She wisely chose our Leeds Club night with ‘Wax On’ and ‘Metropolis’, where she rubbed shoulders with Chase and Status, Breakage, Doorly, Rusko and Erol Alkan and stayed up way past her bedtime. Her ‘plus one’ (as we say in clubland) was her boyfriend Ossian Willan-Hughes (you see – more name envy; it’s rife!)…and they had great fun. All four of them.
