SB:12 Occupy European Resort Tour Latest: Mountain-lovin’ travellin’ deck minstrels, The Urban Knights are currently occupying Chamonix – and Tuesday witnessed a double-header of a mision which began with ‘piste testing’ the MOTOROLA DEFY on the rails and kickers all afternoon long, before all 3 (The Knights and the DEFY) emerged unscathed and battle-ready for the after dark aural assault on the cool ‘Le Vert‘ club.
Packed wall-to-wall with steamed up seasonaires and some very lucky holiday makers (‘…the best music we’ve since we got here… In fact the only music we’ve heard since we got here!’), the party rated a 9 on the Cooper Scale (the Richter scale of Snowbombing).
Biggest tune of the night was ‘Touch My Horn‘ by Jesse Rose…. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! With Val D’Isere and then Val Thorens in their sights, the OCCUPY bandwagon rolls ever on, making a stand against cheesy apres ski, musical mediocrity and weedy handsets!
