So you've decided on where you're staying and how you're getting there, but there’s a load of extra options which can be booked at the same time as you make your initial booking or can be added on later. You have until September you decide on which of these you may want, but here is a breakdown to the exciting and essentials that you may wish to add to your booking.

LIFT/SKI PASSIf you want to go up the mountain you'll need a lift/ski pass. (And believe us you will because it's amazing and they'll be some great acts up there during the day). Passes for skiing can be booked with us or if you are only intended to go up the mountain on foot you can buy foot passes at the lift. Through us you can book passes from 3 to 7 days. The passes for 3 days are for the Mayrhofen area only whereas 4,5, 6 and 7 day passes will also give you access to the full 625km that makes up the Zillertal Valley (this includes the Hintertux Glacier).

EQUIPMENT HIREIf you don't have your own ski or snowboard equipment you can book this through us too. Equipment hire includes the 'hard' equipment only (i.e. skis, boots and poles/ snowboard, boots and bindings) so you will need your own clothes - most importantly waterproof trousers and sunglasses/ goggles.

If you know that you need equipment then it is advisable to book in advance. Last year people who waited until they got to resort were left disappointed as much of the equipment was sold out.

SKI/ SNOWBOARD LESSONSYou're in a ski resort and surrounded by snow...there's no excuse really! Even if it's just for a day or two you have to try skiing or snowboarding. The instructors are always friendly and they'll be plenty of other Snowbombers to fall around with. Lessons can be booked for 3 x 2 hours and 5 x 3 hours.

Mayrhofen Snowcamp also offers more proficient skiers and snowboarders the opportunity to take more advanced lessons in both freestyle and off-piste riding. The 'camp' includes 3 x 2 hrs of freestyle lessons, 1 x 4 hours of off piste. You'll be supplied with safety equipment and snowshoes (if needed), a team T-shirt and a video control during the lesson. This is a fantastic way to improve your skiing and snowboarding and although you should be at a reasonable level, different level groups can be catered for.

EVENING MEAL OPTIONIf you like to know where the next meal is coming from you can order all your evening meals in advance. If you are staying in three or four star accommodation your meals are served in your hotel, if you are staying a guest house or apartment your meals are served in the Hotel Strass.

The Evening Meal Option: £15 pp/pn, that's £75 for the 5 nights The option must be booked for the duration of your stay.


COACH FROM THE UK TO MAYRHOFEN (RETURN)Those of you with a fear of flying...or late comers who've missed the cheap flights...fear not, one of our coaches will deliver you from your nearest city to the festival doorstep for a paltry amount of your cash (prices released September 1st).

One set of coaches will be leaving the UK on Saturday 3rd April and arriving in Mayrhofen the day before the event on Sunday 4th (customers on this coach will need to book an extra nights accommodation at the beginning of the event). The second set of coaches will be leaving on Sunday 5th April and will be arriving on the start stay of the event (Monday 5th April). All coacheswill leave Mayrhofen on Saturday 10th April, returning to the UK on Sunday 11th April.

ARCTIC DISCOThe now legendary Arctic Disco… Although only launched the year before last, it is already become a part of Snowbombing’s beguiling mythology. Snowbombing 2009 saw 400 people ride Austria's biggest cable car after-dark, to the very top of the mighty Ahorn, where the DJ’s includes KISSY SELL OUT, ANNIE MAC and CAGED BABY, hosting an ice-cool party at 2000 meters in a club made from snow, serving drinks in glasses made from ice, amidst the eternal peaks. These evenings were a once-in-a-lifetime experience - so make sure you get experienced next year – this is one party which always has a SOLD OUT-VENUE FULL sign hanging on it well in advance.

ARCTIC HOTELHow about a snowy sleepover? Wave goodbye to the last cable car and spend the night on the mountain, eating dinner, drinking wine and dancing in an igloo. Those who stay in the Hotel gain free entry to the Arctic Disco…really…does it get any better than this?

A once in a life-time experience and opportunity you cannot afford to miss! Stay in your very own cosy igloo, enjoy a romantic meal, sip drinks as the stars come out, and soak away your cares together in a heated mountain-top Jacuzzi, prior to snuggling up (in the worlds warmest sleeping bags) and indulging in some fun in the fur… Then you awake to an alpine sunrise and eat a delicious breakfast, prior to strapping on your ski’s / board and making first tracks on the virgin piste ( or choose to sit in the deckchairs and soak up the sun!)
