All roads lead to Snowbombing…at least they do if you’re taking part in The Snowbombing Road Trip:
After last years marvelously messy motorcade showed the way,
we’re hitting the road again for another joyous journey of tasty tourism ; eating en route jam doughnuts, cream cakes, apple strudle (and yes, perhaps even the inevitable custard pie…more “splat nav” than Sat Nav, you might say).
You know what they say about half the fun is getting there…?
Well surely the most enjoyable way to get to Snowbombing (with the possible exception of spending a messy hour on the water bed in Paris Hiltons private plane),
is to take part in THE SNOWBOMBING ROAD TRIP.
Imagine a
clubbing road-trip crossed with ‘The Wacky Races’ and a leisurely ride along the Autobahns, and you pretty much get the picture.
Dates: Road Trip
leaves London Saturday 28th March, arriving in Mayrhofen on Sunday 29th March, with a
stopover in Frankfurt on the
evening of the 28th.
Rember to book your extra nights accommodation in Frankfurt and in Mayrhofen so you are not left sleeping in the car!

Feet up All the Way…So popular is the Road Trip that due to demand,
we’re running a support coach – meaning you can now take part in the rally, and witness all its pleasurable pitstops, surreal service breaks and random refuelling fun and games …WITHOUT HAVING TO DRIVE!!! This is truly an immaculate conception in that it removes any last semblance of responsibility from you, ( allowing you to put your foot up…rather than down!), and do those things you can’t do with a steering wheel in both hands and the German equivalent of Eddie Stobart in your rear view mirror...!

Hit The Road (&) Jack 
Setting off from London on Saturday 28th March, where all competitors will receive directions and specific road trip instructions, ( including some fun en route challenges), before heading South in an exhaust-fume filled exodus. From Calais,
the Road Trip will briefly pass through Belgium before heading straight through Germany for an overnight in Frankfurt ( home of Sven Vath’s ‘Cocoon’), to dance, trance, body pop and jack away the night,
prior to heading for the razzle-dazzle razor sharp alps of Austria – where you triumphantly parade right up the Haupt Strasse (high street to you) in Mayrhofen.

The Snowbombing Road Trip is not a race – more of a fun way to journey to Snowbombing which costs (£189)– this is
up to five passengers, and
includes return ferry travel, stickers and
flags for the cars, rally tops for each passenger, a club night en route and
parking facilities en route and in Mayrhofen. You will
also receive a certificate to show your grandkids.

The Stopover…
We are pleased to announce our
stopover destination for this year’s Road Trip will again be Frankfurt.
Frankfurt is the financial capital of Germany but is certainly not a mundane city.
Last year Snowbombers partied the night away in the infamous Cocoon club - the centrepiece of Sven Vath’s clubbing Cocoon Empire.

The HotelAfter last years successful stopover in Frankfurt, we have taken things a step further and have managed to negotiate to take over the whole Achat Plaza Hotel exclusively for Snowbombers, offering you some great discounted rooms. Located just a stone’s throw away from the infamous Cocoon club and restaurants. The nights certainly going to be an interesting one!
The
Achat Plaza is our recommended hotel, and at the moment they have
space for all the Rally participants, so remember to book to avoid disappointment!
Facilities include a great bar, restaurant, pay parking and even its own sauna and gym!
Rates: 60 euros per room (business double, twin & single), so book quickly as they are subject to availability.

The Ferry crossing...
The outbound crossing will be from Dover to Calais on Saturday 28th March 2009!
