And so to the now legendary Arctic Disco… Although only launched the year before last, it is already become a part of Snowbombing’s beguiling mythology – expect next year to be bigger and better – snow wonder!

Snowbombing 2008 saw 300 people ride Austria's biggest cable car after-dark, to the very top of the mighty Ahorn, where our DJ’s hosted an ice-cool party at 2000 meters in a bar made from snow, serving drinks in glasses made from ice, amidst the eternal peaks (yes it’ was that good) ... just like eating the tequila worm, a night with a nymphomaniac and root canal work, these evenings were a once-in-a-lifetime experience - so make sure you get experienced next year!

The Arctic Disco will be open 3 times during Snowbombing, Gig 1, Gig 2 and Gig 3. These dates will be revealed nearer the time of the event. To book add the option when you book accommodation or log back into your booking.

It’s not every party at which you arrive in Austria’s biggest cable car, before dancing in a club made completely of snow, and drinking cocktails in glasses made from crystal clear ice! Not every club offers you the chance to wash away your day’s activities in a steaming hot tub, prior to cuddling up beneath blankets in an Ice Cinema, or dance around a bonfire, beneath the stars. But that’s exactly what the Arctic Disco experience offers.

For the first time, they offered snowy sleepovers. Where people waved goodbye to the last cable car and spend the night on the mountain, eating dinner, drinking wine and dancing in an igloo. Those who stay in the Hotel gained free entry to the Arctic Disco…really…does it get any better than this?
