I am yet to receive an interview offer, and I know the job is still listed, both with agencies and direct. I am hoping that it is the machinations of a useless HR department, as I am familiar with that sort of thing.

Just arrived onsite at a customer/client site for a meeting. Got a frigging poppy and the works. Anyway, they had a power outage, and everything turned off in the early hours. Nothing works. Can't see me actually having any meetings...

I had a scheduled meeting with one of my partners for 2pm yesterday...He rolled up at 4. I was fuming..! However, he came with some promising contract opportunities from both old clients and new..! Oh...sorry, no work talk, it's all bullshit after all.
I just did something this morning that I've always wanted to do at work but never been wound up enough to do so. I actually said "Oh Fuck Off...!" to a customer on the phone before hanging up. It felt VERY good..!
Well it's that time of year again, where we get to chose our bonus packages for the following year. We got the email saying enrollment would be open from 9am this morning. So ofcourse the flid was on straight away, and got an error saying the site wasnt working.
I was like care? Nothing you pick gets submitted until the 31st of Dec so why worry about it now. It's only been open 10 seconds, maybe try again tomorrow. Not him tho, he's straight on phoning up. They tell him there are issues witht he launch of the site and to try again later. He's been trying it all day. Each time it gets a little further, he phones up saying its still not working, but he got further than last time. He's been going round asking other people to try too! Seriously who gives a fuck.

Pension on one hand, or 8 extra days annual leave on the other. It's a tough one.
I'm torn between pension or minimal tax contributions....Tricky.
